• Youth Retreat at Scicon/Parents in New York

    The waterfall that some people stood under. I was not one of those people.

    I just got back from a youth retreat at Scicon. It was a total blast! :) Unfortunately I didn't have my camera because I loaned it to my parents. They had the opportunity to go to New York for the week. Since their last flight was horribly botched they were given free round trip tickets to anywhere in the continental US. At least they were able to take some great pics during their trip.

    We did have my brother's camera, but once we got to camp we discovered that we had left the memory card at home. Of all the rotten luck! The camp was great though. We had a group of about sixteen young people from our church attend this year and everyone had a great time. Saturday a bunch of us went on a loooong hike to go see a waterfall. Once we got back we were tired, a lot of us were soaking wet, and we were loving every minute of it as you can see from the pics I stole from my good buddy Raelene. :)

    The services were awesome as well. I already knew the speaker, Bro. Stephen Miraflor, from when he was the director of PK retreat. He challenged all of us with his messages and blessed me personally with his ministry.

    I can't wait till next year!

      Your title cracked me up. It made it sound as if the youth event was scandalous. i.e. Party time, mom and dad is gone! LOL It gave me a good laugh cause I know you are a bunch of good kids.

      Megan - Yeah camp was a blast. :) It came at the perfect time. I need the break too. :)

      Aunt Jana - Haha... I didn't even think of that, but I can totally see what you're talking about. Not to worry though, cause my bro and I spent the first half of the week with my grandparents. :) As if it would have been scandalous anyway. haha

      omg i rememba goin there but it was for skool. very odd and scary at the time. lol
